• Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery - Kuwait University
• Membership of the Royal college of physicians of the United Kingdom in internal medicine
• Fellowship of the Royal college of physicians of Ireland in Gastroenterology
• Advanced endoscopy fellowship in ERCP and EUS. Royal Liverpool University hospital
