The Pediatrics Department provides comprehensive health care services for children, newborns and young children by a fully qualified and trained medical team to care for children. Care is provided both on an outpatient basis and to hospital residents. The department also includes an intensive care unit for newborns and young children who need careful monitoring of their health condition and special medical care under the supervision and continuous follow-up of the medical staff in a safe environment.

• Hearing measurement and ophthalmoscopy for newborns.
• Diagnosing and following up cases of pelvic dislocation in newborns.
• Ultrasound examination of the heart and ECG for children.
• Monitoring the growth, movement, behavior and language of children.
• Diagnosing cases of psychological and neurological illness, delayed speech, and learning difficulties.
• Follow up on cases of malnutrition and obesity in children.
• Diagnosis and follow-up of genetic and metabolic syndromes and various immune and allergic diseases.
